Ain't No Woman Like the One I Got

For about a week a couple of years ago, my sister Sarah and I were really into the song "Ain't No Woman Like the One I Got," by the Four Tops. It was constantly in our heads. Well, actually, it was more like just the title line was in our heads. It became a supplement to pretty much every conversation we had.

Sarah: Hey, I got my cell phone bill and it was astronomical. It's like, there ain't no woman like the one I got.
Amanda: Really? Because I was under the impression (misguided, so it seems) that there ain't no woman like the one I got. Also, my phone bills are totally high.

-or-

Amanda: Hey, I have something to tell you that I only recently became aware of and thought you should know too. Turns out, there ain't no woman like the one I got.
Sarah: Get out of town. That's crazy, because I was told my a pretty reputable source that there ain't no woman like the one I got. Huh. You learn something new every day.

We thought it was brilliant and hilarious, but everyone else just wanted it to stop as soon as possible. They tried introducing us to other Motown hits, or made conversation that they figured could not be connected to the Four Tops (they were wrong -- we could connected anything to the Four Tops). It was to no avail. We did it until we ourselves found it unfunny and moved on to something else equally absurd.

I think it's about time it made a comeback.
